Tests and test suites can take any amount of time to run. When I'm running one that takes between, say, 30 seconds and 5 minutes to run, I'm never sure what I should do during that time.
It's too long a time to just sit there. It's too short a time to actually do anything else. Plus, if I try to go and do anything else, I forget about the test. I forget which is supposed to be the "background job" and the "foreground job", and I end up accomplishing very little overall.
So, what do you do while your 30-second to five-minute tests are running?
Note: I'm not looking for advice, I'm looking for the best solution someone has come up with that that person actually practices.
