Developing both client and server sides of a large system using dynamic language (JavaScript) for the last year we have never thought of DTO's (POJO, POCO, etc). We forgot the pain of DB-to-POJO-to-JSON compatibility we used to have with C#/JAVA.
A very experienced (~20 years) JAVA guru says:
Dynamic is an anti-pattern for enterprise grade projects. The larger the project, the more structure it needs.
Although, my experience (13 years) says that
the larger the project, the more flexibility it requires.
The question to the people who's got more than 10 years experience developing large systems. Why the guru is right and I am not?
