Dear programmers community,
I have been an user of a MacBook for some time but it got stolen a week ago. I am planning to have a new one but I would like to create a telnet-like backdoor to my own computer in case someone would steal it again in the future.
Important things it must greet: I. It should be able to recognize me (auth of some sort) and I want to be able to connect to it anytime, without need to know it's actual IP or any other info normally needed.
I don't care about traffic encrypting but it could be a nice feature.
I am thinking of an own server serving as a man in the middle, maybe a web interface acting like a console and a client running as a daemon on mac wating for new commands, taking them, executing them and sending an output into web app through some php webservice.
What do you think about this design? Do you have a better solution?
I am not asking anybody to do it for me, i can do it by myself, i would just like to discuss this idea and look at it from another point of view.
If there is something i could build upon, please, let me know
Take Care and be safe, Mikhael
