Not sure if this is the correct site for this question, but as a developer I hear having a good website is absolutely essential. Granted I'm a student, and I don't have many projects to include (although I'm starting to work on some to show now). Should I take the time to develop it from scratch (as a developer this seems like the right answer) or save some time and use something like wordpress, which might in fact end up looking nicer since I'm not a designer. Any suggestions?
