I'm a Java developer and I want to dive into functional programming. I've had an introductory Haskell course at university a few years ago, and remember that I did quite like it. Sadly nothing sticked though, so I will be starting from zero.
On the other hand, Scala is not as functionally pure, I guess, though it obviously has more market value and would be more useful to me. If I start with Haskell, would the concepts that I've learned be of great benefit when picking up Scala? Or should I learn both at the same time? Thanks!
