What is your advice for a software engineer aspiring to transition from C++ to C#, in the most effective way possible? [on hold]

Context: I have been trying to get good at programming (in general) and C/C++ in particular.I have an offer to be a part of a very promising startup in computer vision for a C# computer vision engineer. I have to now transition to C#(which is more closer to Java i think) from C++. I have not used Java at all, although I am familiar to OOPS concepts due to the c++ background. Any useful advice that can help me? Would the learning curves be too steep?
