What is limitation of localstorage in mobile? [on hold]

I am developing android app for BOOK (using cordova) which contains almost 10,000 pages and hundreds of audio files, How good is LocalStorage for that? Is it good practice to use localstorage for store very large text files? does it make my app slow to get data every time I access database?please also give any other suggestion for above requirement...thanks
