Is there a good book or resource with covering programming language theory and examples?
Would like to read about dynamic language approach, monads, closure, lambdas and of course classic OOP approach. Declarative vs imperative style, etc.
For example, in javascript there is an idea with Prototype and object inheritance, which look ridiculous for classic C++/Java/.NET developers.
Want to know more about programming ideas.
