Common term for sender and recipient?

I'm modelling the participants in the sending of a letter. Although I do need to know the direction (sender sends to recipient), the data structure for both sender and recipient is the same. So I feel my struct should have a direction-neutral name. 'Letter participants' seems unsatisfactory. Any better ideas?
