Ok so i have watched tons of tutorials and read countless things on programming with C++ and C#. All of these tutorials start with the typical "HelloWorld" spiel that essentially teaches you nothing but punctuation. I think the whole process needs rewound for me. What is all the possible commands, what are they, etc... If i cannot understand how the computer itself is using the information then how in the hell do i know what it is i am creating?!?!?! Was there a crash course on all of this i missed or something? Is there any free to read material that explains to me what things are and when they need to be used? Cause honestly just typing in what i am told to type only teaches punctuation and structure for what i am writing in, like a IDE(visual studio's) or notepad++.
So i guess i need something more complex but at the same time teaching me the very fundamentals of what things are. i think if i can get over this hurdle then i could be writing programs in a few months with no tutorials at all for an example... I find the current teaching methods incomplete and absolutely terrible for reasons stated above. I would like to learn c# as it is relevant to my current needs. Is there any other language i should learn before c#? I would prefer to stick with c# personally and jump right into my project but if it is not possible cause of learning curves then i will just have to live with it...
No idea if there is a existing thread with all the answers i ask. Sorry if there is... But please refrain from being obtuse unless you absolutely feel in every atom of your existence there is a no other way to reply. I am just trying to learn and am finding it more frustrating than difficult...
