Android app stops on 3G

I'm "very green", try to develop an online radio app for Android. I use jPlayer and Phonegap to build the app. Everything looked fine, till the moment I tried using the app on a 3G mobile network. Whenever I switch on the 3G, the app stops. While, on Wi-Fi, it has no problems at all. Do you have any idea what could be causing such problem?
