What Programming Language ist this?

I know I will get some downvotes for asking this, but I can't figure it out so here it goes:

Some of the code in the HTM file:

Hints:

• the code is embedded in HTML and used in an .HTM file


• the HTML page is displayed in an frame inside an win32 application


• variables are passed like this: [§VARIABLENAME§]


• temporary files (eg. wax7A78.htm and wax7A78.tmp) are beeing generated in C:/Users/{USERNAME}/AppData/Local/Temp/

I need to extend those files and therefore need to know what language this could be?
