synchronization of video playback?(Side By Side)

I need to make the video playback of two videoView or surfaceview here is an example app on Google Play .

I have long suffered first from cardboard but nothing happened , and then just tried to find a solution with the playback 2 videoview same video, I only found a solution to the stackoverflow.

Just tried to take advantage of this application from github, but without root rights , it does not work.

That is, I almost found a solution to the problem, but it supports only local files and if I want to play from the Internet via the "http" or "https" then this option does not work. Help solve the problem with video playback , and what are the possible solutions , examples , lessons, anything ?
