Non software projects managed with scrum - any help?

I'm about to start working on a non software project, it is for a NGO (non-governmental organization), and it is something I'm going to do in my free time.

It is for the JCI organization.

I usually provide them with mentoring and I wanted to introduce scrum with this team. I'm about to start searching about how to implement scrum in non software projects, and I would really appreciate any tips, links or documents you might provide in order to start my search.

Any help or advice would be really appreciated.
