How complex is the task to formulate an algorithm that produces, not necessarily efficiently, another algorithm to efficiently solves the Rubik cube? Has it been attempted before? What is the latest research status on such techniques: an algorithm to produce another efficient algorithm? I should be very grateful for links to appropriate literature.
