I've been a .NET developer for many years now but feel like my knowledge could use a refresh. The projects I've worked on have been various mixtures of mostly .NET 3.5 with WinForms and WCF, with tiny bits of .NET 4.5 here and there (but not much).
Basically I'm looking for recommendations on learning resources for modern .NET. I'd like to re-learn .NET from 4.5 and up, basically dropping the old baggage and starting fresh with the modern style.
Any videos / books / courses that people here would recommend for doing this?
To be a little more specific; what does a modern .NET stack look like for a client/server .NET application using web services?
