Images showing up on desktop browser, but not on iPad

I have a web app that needs to run on the iPad, which it is doing except it's only bringing in certain images and not others. I have two versions of each image, one is the original which does not exist inside my directory at all. The other is an updated version which is the version of the image I want to use. When I set the source to this image and I test it, the image shows up on the desktop browser, but not on the iPad. If I place the original image in my directory, set the source to that image and test, the image shows up on both the desktop browser and the iPad.

I thought maybe it would be a caheing issue with the iPad, so I cleared the cache, and restarted the iPad, but it's still doing this. I've done a console log to see if the images are being correctly retrieved and they are. Does anyone know why this is happening?
