how to find typos and misspellings in code comments

I am getting familiar with some portion of code of a very large internal project (over 1 million lines of code) which is C-based and hosted on Mercurial repository. While looking at code, I found several spelling mistakes and typos in the comments.

Question: Is there a tool I can run on the entire code base to detect all the misspellings and typos? My goal is to create a patch which fixes those mistakes.
