How does software like AgoraPulse get all the facebook data?

I am working on a Facebookimplementation in an ERP software and I was looking around and found AgoraPulse software. How does this kind of software get all this page information? User likes, Wall posts, Monitoring of user posts with your pagetags in,... I thought this was not possible.
