Database Design: How Amazon stores product data?

First, I would like to specify that the question could be the same with others big websites (wikipedia, facebook...). It is more a design question.

Amazon is available in many languages and there are articles in EVERY languages without translations concepts. I would like to create the same database schema.

Does Amazon database handle all articles in one table (not to even mention associations tables) ? So when users connect to the website, they execute queries related to the current language to collect data. Is it possible that Amazon has one database per one language or one Article table by language ?

Does anyone have an idea of their database scheme to store articles ? or something close to manage a lot of articles in different languages.
