Currently in our project we have trunk , release branches also hotfix brances , we are planning to maintain single branch strategy instead maintain multiple. can any one explain what are all the approaches we need to take and how this can effect our performance and development of project.
I am very much new to CI team and trying to understand this process. is there any tools to merge the code base without manual intervention.
