Rectangle bin packing: multiple containers

I have the following problem (non-academic):

• Pack several rectangles, which have random dimension, within rectangles that have a known and fixed dimension.

Properties: - You will need to use several 'container' rectangles - You may and shall rotate the rectangles on any degree (or 90º for sake of simplicity)

Optimization: total waste of container space.
