Is Swift 1.1 ready for use in production?

We are going to start building application to support iOS devices for a product.

We are considering Swift as choice for development.

I have read that swift has/had many issues regarding performance,compile time, Corner case bugs while bridging with Obj C code etc.

I also found some have success using swift for production

My doubt is regarding whether swift is stable for development as of now? (1.1)

Or Should use Obj C rather than Swift if we start development now?
